Helping people find the key to their happiness... and she has been helping people do just that! 

Gwen founded One Conversation Coaching in 1995, which includes working with a diverse client base towards self-discovery, new perspectives and skill development that includes goal setting, communication, conflict resolution and problem solving skills. Gwen's coaching style is unique in that she is willing to go beyond the 'here and now' into people's past, even into childhood, (if they are comfortable doing so), as that is where most core issues, fears, obstacles and limiting beliefs originated. She works with individuals, couples, families, teams within workplace environments to support personal growth. professional development and relationship building.

She has led a seminar called Relationship Boot Camp at the YWCA to support singles and couples to create extraordinary personal relationships. She has been the guest speaker for a variety of organizations including Canadian Mental Health and Women in Film. She has been mentor and guest speaker for the Women in Leadership Mentorship Program and the YWCA's Commit to Success Program. 

Gwen’s background is in Social Work and Life Skills Coaching working with people in crisis, youth at risk, young and adult offenders and their families. She holds a Diploma in Social Services from Mount Royal College (Calgary) and is a Certified Life Skills Coach through Grant MacEwan University (Edmonton) with 17 years experience working in both in the criminal justice system and in social services. 

One of Gwen's goals is to contribute her coaching to “change your life television” phenomenon, to reach a wider audience base. Her television coaching debut was on Slice's Chop Shop, where she was a guest coach. She was the head coach for the Flash Forward Program sponsored by Women in Film overseeing 11 coaches and 79 participants in a month long program to achieve their goals in film and television industry. She has volunteered for two years on SHAW's Studio 4 with Fanny Kiefer and did an internship with Force Four's Shopping Bags on W network. 

Gwen has created her own extraordinary personal relationship with the man who is ‘even better than the man of her dreams’.  She initiated the relationship in 1993 and they have been each other's ‘preferred company’ ever since. "Engaging in conversations that transform people" is Gwen’s absolute favorite activity (both coaching others and getting coached) and activities that stretch her personal, professional & relationship development including seminars, network events, and toastmasters. 

She enjoys her family, friends and clients and also loves to photograph people, dancing (currently salsa aerobics), spending time at the beach, swimming in the ocean, going on road trips, stopping for yard sales and cleaning out people's closets!
